Export to Excel
We have a fantastic program that allows you to take any Report from Sage 1000 and transform it into a CSV File, of course Sage does this as standard but our program is a little more advanced in that you can manipulate the data before it gets to Excel, for example it is powerful enough to manipulate a Detailed Aged Debtors Analysis into Excel, this makes it a great tool for Data Conversions to another product.
* This program also works for Tetra 2000, CS/3 and Sage Line 500.
Aged Debtors Analysis
To showcase how powerful this product is I've taken an Aged Debtors Analysis from Sage 1000 and saved the report to a text file, I've only selected the first 3 customers and removed the totals section.
End Result in Excel
This is the final result in Excel, no formatting required other than to set the numeric columns to 2 decimal places, notice how the Headings can be changed to your own wording, merged with the actual report (the Period Dates) or mapped in the case where the report says Currency Type is Base, I changed the word BASE to GBP.
In the actual Data part of the spreadsheet the Contact Details are moved from underneath the Customers Name and placed alongside the Customers Name, all the Transaction lines are then configured to move into their own columns within the Spreadsheet.
Finally, notice how the O/S Order Balance on the Totals line of the original report is moved to a column of it's own in the Spreadsheet, this is also totalled at the end of the Spreadsheet.
